Overview:

Travel teams are contructed from open tryouts and are highly competitive. These teams compete against other AAU/Travel teams from across Georgia (and the U.S.) in tournaments during the months spanning March thru July.

Who:

CJBP Travel teams are for 5th – 8th grade boys and girls (11u-14u).   Rosters are limited to 11 players.   Competitive tryouts are used for team selection.  Players are NOT required to live in the Centennial district to participate, however, depending on the needs of the team, priority may be given to players who do reside within the Centennial district.

When:

Tryouts: February

Tournaments: March - June

How Often:

Teams typically practices 2x during the week (Mon-Fri) and play in 5 -7 tournaments throughout the Spring.

Where:

Practices are held at middle schools (Holcomb Bridge, Haynes Bridge) and Centennial H.S. Teams will compete in tournaments held in metro Atlanta. Teams may travel out of state for one tournament during the season.

Cost:

$500-$650 (can be paid in installments); Includes uniforms, practice and game facility costs, insurance, equipment, etc. AAU/Travel team players may participate in CJB Training sessions free of charge.

Registration:

AAU/Travel team registration begins late February. Before registering, please confirm that your son/daughter has been selected to participate on a team. Click here to register
